Internationally Recognized Programs

Under the assistance of IAL, my academic qualification was submitted to Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) for qualifications assessment. The assessment advises that my academic attainment is comparable to a local Bachelor (Honors) Degree.

Enrolling into University Directly from F5

After graduated from Form 5, I chose a bachelor program offered by Utah State University at IAL. It took me less than 3 years to complete my bachelor degree. When I graduated, I was only 20 years old. This was much faster than my friends who were under the traditional Hong Kong education system, since I did not have to attend Form 6 and Form 7 in order to enter Utah State University. By the time I have finished my degree, many of my friends were still in school either pursuing a diploma or an associate degree.

Successful Pathway

The programs at IAL enhanced my competency and enriched my knowledge. With the skills and knowledge that I have obtained, I have landed on a very satisfactory job in Hong Kong. I am now a product specialist of Johnson and Johnson (medical) Ltd, one of my dream companies. To finish and pass all courses within a two-year timeframe was a daunting task. There were times that I had thought of giving up. Fortunately, the lecturers and tutors were there to help me overcome all of my problems. At the end, YES, I DID IT! I would like to thank all the tutors, instructors, and IAL.

Career Skill Improvement

Apart from professional knowledge, I have also greatly improved my communication skills and English level. I am now more confident when dealing with my clients. Recently, I even got a promotion in my job. After one year of study at IAL, I got an internationally recognized Diploma of Business offered by Royal Brisbane International College (RBIC). Shortly after, I enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program at IAL, offered by University of Canberra. I thank IAL for equipping me with all these valuable knowledge to assist me in my career development.

The Glory of Hong Kong

When I learnt that I was the first Hong Kong student to be awarded the "Outstanding Scholar" of Utah State University, I felt both excited and surprised. As a flight attendant, I work on shifts. This alone was already difficult for me to attend classes regularly. In addition, I had to travel overseas very often. This also means I had to stay in my hotel rooms and study overnights for exams and assignments when others were having fun. It had been both a challenging and stressful time. However, whenever I think of the brighter future that I can have, I know that my long sleepless nights are all worth it.
